CLAIRE LOONEY

Claire Looney, 81 of Kingsland, Texas, died, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce, Texas. She was born May 15, 1926, in Roscoe, Calif., a daughter of the late Joe and Anna Pellicotti Romeo. She was a lab technician before her retirement.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cassville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Looney, and a brother, Frank Romeo.

Survivors include: one son, Danny Looney, of Purdy; two daughters, Dianna and Coy Ray Martin, of New Edinburg, Texas, Carla Intessimone, of Kingsland, Texas; one brother, Leo Intessimone, of Granby; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday at Clark Funeral Home in Granby, with Rev. Danny Looney and Rev. Tony Intessimone officiating. Burial followed in Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn.
