Shoulder-to-shoulder fishing

Mist rose from the hatchery falls at Roaring River State Park as fishermen packed the banks on the opening day of trout season this past Saturday. A total of 2,923 tags were sold to eager anglers who were rewarded for braving early morning temperatures of 28 degrees with afternoon temperatures in the 70s.
