Dick E. Johnson, 67, of Shell Knob, died on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Cassville.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1940, in Fairbury, Neb., the son of Luther and Ellena (Kinzie) Johnson. He married Anna Hein on Jan. 25, 1960, in Kansas City., and she survives.

He worked in the construction business most all of his life. He moved three years ago to the Shell Knob area.

Additional survivors include: three sons, Kevin Johnson, and his wife, Lori, of Fairbury, Neb., Luther Johnson, of Shell Knob, and Mark Johnson, and his wife Carrie, of Garden City; two daughters, Brenda Johnson and Janet Johnson, both of Shell Knob; one sister, Janice Schrock, of Fairbury, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury, Neb. His body has been cremated under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
