Roxie Jane Maloney, 86, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Red Rose Inn, Cassville.
She was born March 12, 1921, in Leadhill, Ark., the daughter of Oliver and Allie (Cantrell) Anderson. On Jan. 8, 1938, she was united in marriage to Everett Hall, and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death in 1971. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Hall; four brothers; and one sister.
On June 22, 1974, in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Albert H. "Cotton" Maloney, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, John Hall, and his wife, Margaret, of Galena; one daughter, Barbara Phillips, and her husband, Larry, of Cassville; two sisters, Phyliss Hoag, and her husband, Jim, of Amity, Ore., and Erma Moreland, and her husband, Bill, of Shell Knob; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She spent her early years in Leadhill, Ark. She then moved to Cassville, where she remained until entering Red Rose Inn in 2005. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
