Ronald Knittle, 55, of Exeter, died on Jan. 23, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on June 3, 1952, in Denver, Colo., the son of Ray and Gloria (Strickland) Knittle. He was an investment broker in Denver and moved to Exeter from Denver five years ago to be closer to his parents. He had established several businesses in his career including the Golden Eagle Goldmine in Bolivia. He was a Boy Scout leader. He was a missionary in several different countries and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of the Cassville Branch.
Survivors include: his parents, Ray and Gloria Knittle, of Exeter; one sister, Glory Dawn Dadiotis, of Gilbert, Ariz.; and one brother, Skip Knittle, and his wife, Rebecca, of Inglewood, Colo.;
Memorial services were held on Tuesday at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Bishop Berlan Crouch officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
