Survivors include: his wife, Kathy Day, of the home; five daughters, Cathy Ford, of Rogers, Ark., Carolyn Mackey, of Monett, Janie Phillips, of Billings, Carol Meredith, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Judy Day, of Springdale, Ark.; two sons, Johnny Ford, of Lowell, Ark., and tony Day, of Aurora; four sisters, Helen Day, of Cassville, Ruby Fletcher, of Washburn, Mary Murphy, of Montana, and alma Smith, of Purdy; three brothers, Johnny Day, of Exeter, Gale Day, of Monett, and Walter Day, of Exeter; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 15 at the First Baptist Church of Lowell, Ark., with Gary thomas and Ben Rowell officiating. Burial followed in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
