Dorothy G. Colf, 73, of Seligman, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Aug. 6, 1934, in Canandaigua, N. Y., the daughter of John E. Gentner, Sr. and Dorothy S. (Denniston) Gentner. On Nov. 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Colf, who preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one grandson. Survivors include: six sons, Daniel Colf and his wife, Joyce, of Rogers, Ark., Steven Colf and his wife, Victoria, of Middleton, Idaho, and Nathan Colf and his wife, Sandra, Timothy Colf and his wife, LeAna, Andrew Colf and his wife, Tracy and Patrick Colf all of Seligman; three daughters, Susan Rivera and her husband, Daniel, of Huntsville, Ark., Mary Nix and her husband, James, of Minco, Okla., and Alice Outhouse and her husband, Kevin, of Seligman; two brothers, John Gentner and his wife, Norma, of Manchester, N. Y., and David Gentner and his wife, Jane, of Maples, N. Y.; two sisters, Jean Repard and her husband, Jerry, and Ruth Anderson and her husband, Craig, all of Canandaigua, N. Y.; 36 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

She received her education at St. Mary's School and Canandaigua Academy, where she graduated from high school. She remained in Canandaigua until 1971, when she moved to Wellton, Ariz. In 1980 she moved to Seligman to make her home. She had been a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville prior to transferring her membership to St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, in St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett. Father Daniel Robles will conduct the services.

Her body has been cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, and her ashes will be buried in Canandaigua, N. Y.
