Lloyd Ceselski, 80, formerly of Purdy, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at the Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Neb., following a short illness.
He born in Purdy, Dec. 4, 1927, and was a long-time resident of both Nebraska and Missouri. He spent most of his youth in Omaha, Neb.
He owned and operated Ceselski's Custom Taxidermy, along with his wife Phyllis, in Purdy for more than 30 years.
Survivors include: his daughter, Deb Longe, of Hoskins, Neb.; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Lori Ceselski, of Loveland, Iowa, stepson, Pat Ahrens and wife Rhonda, of Purdy; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Angeline Hedges, Patricia and Gale Tyler, Zella and Ric Huaracha, Gene and Sarah Ceselski, of Purdy, and Bill and Irene, of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, daughter Sharon K. Baker, son Randall L., son-in-law Denny Longe, brothers Bart, Ben, sister Barbara Biggs and brother-in-law Harry Hedges.
a celebration of his life, will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Fern's Tavern in Pierce City.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
