William "Bill" Merrill Pressler, 44, of Exeter, died on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1963, in Portsmouth, Va., the son of George and Sally (Jordan) Pressler. He married Mari Dapp on Sept. 25, 1993, in Eureka Springs, Ark. She survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Austin and was a mechanic.

Additional survivors include: one son, J.T. Pressler, of the home; one brother, George Pressler, of Exeter; one sister, Debbie Price, of Bourbonnais, Ill.; father-in-law, John Dapp and his wife, Barbara, of Encino, Calif.; mother-in-law, Reba Adams and her husband, Dave, of Ogdon, Utah; two brothers-in-law, Michael Dapp of Canyon Country Valley, Calif., and Mathew Dapp, of Alaska; two sisters-in-law, Angela Blair, of Pennsylvania, and Teresa Blair of Reseda, Calif.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Pastor Marcos Gutierrez officiating. Military Funeral Honors presented by the Missouri National Guard Juliet Team.

Arrangements were under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
