Marilyn Nauman, 77, of Shell Knob, died on Dec. 4, 2007, at her daughter's home in Shell Knob.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1930, in Bayard, Neb., the daughter of Harold and Lenore (Silsby) Upton. She was married to David Nauman. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Douglas, Wyo., and was the Community Educational Director for Eastern Wyoming College in Douglas, Wyo., for several years.

Survivors include: two daughters, Jennine Rohrbaugh, of Elkton, Md., and Kerry Smith, and her husband, Bill, of Shell Knob; four brothers, Loyd Upton, of Auburn, Calif., Bob Upton, of Winnamocka, Nev., Calvin Upton, of Livermore, Colo., and Tim Upton, of Meeteetse, Wyo.; five grand children, and nine and a half great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David Upton in 1990.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 805 E. Richard, Suite 3, in Douglas, Wyo. Burial will follow at the Douglas Cemetery in Douglas.
