Work on the new 10th Street Bridge in Cassville is complete. The heavily travelled roadway now lacks asphalt, but the detour has been removed and vehicles are driving over the new structure, which spans Hawk Branch. The project was completed by Granger Dirtworks at a cost of $67,735.78 and was spearheaded by the Barry County Commission. This photo of the bridge was taken on Monday when portions of Barry County received a thin covering of ice. Temperatures kept the ice from forming on roadways and accumulating too heavily on branches and power lines.
