Seventh grade girls trounce McDonald County. The Cassville seventh grade girls basketball squad (4-1) beat up on McDonald County 51-21. Kimberly Orrell led the charge, boasting 24 points, seven steals, six assists and three three-pointers. Keisha Corn also did well, tallying 11 points.
CMS eighth grade girls fall in defensive struggle. The Cassville eighth grade squad struggled against McDonald County. The Ladycats trailed early but took a late lead only for McDonald County to take it back, winning 22-20. Cassville's Jamie Everett had 11 rebounds in the contest along with four steals and 2 points. Lacy Elkins was the team's leading scorer with 9 points.
