CMS Ladycat teams have mixed results

• Seventh grade girls trounce McDonald County. The Cassville seventh grade girls basketball squad (4-1) beat up on McDonald County 51-21. Kimberly Orrell led the charge, boasting 24 points, seven steals, six assists and three three-pointers. Keisha Corn also did well, tallying 11 points.

• CMS eighth grade girls fall in defensive struggle. The Cassville eighth grade squad struggled against McDonald County. The Ladycats trailed early but took a late lead only for McDonald County to take it back, winning 22-20. Cassville's Jamie Everett had 11 rebounds in the contest along with four steals and 2 points. Lacy Elkins was the team's leading scorer with 9 points.
