Soldier's sister appreciates support
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read the article in the paper about my brother. The article was titled "American Soldier in Need." He is down to four weeks until he can come home, and we are thrilled he's coming home.
I now have, as of the time of writing this, $200 for him to help him get a home or food or clothing. I can't thank you enough. If you missed his story, please go to www.angelsofhealing.com/HelpaSoldier.html. If you were still wishing to donate to him, the account is set up at Arvest Bank; you can take it in or mail it. The account is Pamela Graham (Soldier Fund-Scott). Right now, we just found out that where his base is there is a LOT of violence, gangs and individuals are killing the military men when they leave base because they don't agree with the military or the war or the president. Now we fear for my brother's life even more than we had to when he was overseas. It is stressful enough for families knowing what conditions their loved ones are being sent out of the country and into the middle of, but when they are almost due home and on our own soil and you have to worry on these final days if you will see them again . . . it's very difficult.
Again, thank you to everyone who was able to help. I know it is a hard time with taxes due and Christmas close. I really do appreciate it more than I can put into words.
