Edna Miller, 73, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, in Springfield.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.


Rick "Animal" Lauffer, 48, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, in his home.

He was born Dec. 20, 1958, in Atchison, Kan., the son of Ralph Charles and Georgia Elizabeth (Bowling) Lauffer. On Dec. 25, 2003, he was united in marriage to Doris Larson, who survives. Additional survivors include: five sons, Dustin Lauffer, of Aurora, Anthony Larson, Axl Larson, Tristen Larson and Richard Lauffer, II, all of Cassville; four sisters, Connie Emhoff, Missy Horton, Debbie Lauffer and Dori Sharp, all of Aurora; two brothers, Ralph Lauffer and Bob Lauffer, both of Aurora; and a half brother, Richard Ladwig of Akron, Ohio;

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill.

He received his education in Aurora. He worked as a painter and doing various jobs. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora. Brother Danny Heupel conducted the services.
