Wilma Lee Mitchell, 76, of Washburn, formerly Fairview, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born July 21, 1931, in Shell Knob, the daughter of John Thomas and Leatha Mae (Fletcher) Mitchell, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kaye Rogers in 1988; one brother and four sisters.

Survivors include: two sons, Jimmie Rogers, of Fairview, and Larry G. Rogers, of Washburn; three sisters, Geneva Goines, of Cassville, Inez Canny, of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Neoma Krebs, of Springfield; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren,

She attended school in Shell Knob and Butterfield. She was a homemaker and also worked in various factories in Barry County.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Steve Higgs conducted the services. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield.
