William Glenn Crabtree, 59, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. He was born Aug. 5, 1948, in Hutchinson, Kan., the son of Ruby D. (Ervin) Crabtree and the late Gomer Bill Crabtree.
He served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. He owned and operated Wrangler's Cowtown Restaurant in Wheaton for many years.
Additional survivors include: his wife, Lynda J. (Fultz) Crabtree; three sons, Danny Stamps and wife, Karol, of Springdale, Ark., David Stamps and wife, Alicia, of Rocky Comfort, and Brad Crabtree and wife, Kim, of Centerton, Ark.; one daughter, Tricia Leach and husband, Cody, of Springdale, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Patricia Crabtree, one grandson, Drew Stamps, and one granddaughter, Bethany Cupples.
Services were Friday at Stella Baptist Church under the direction of Wheaton Funeral Home. Pastor Glenn Ennis officiated. Internment was at the Union/Owlsly Cemetery in Stella with full military honors.
