He was born Aug. 5, 1920, in Cassville, to George and Rose (Tucker) Haddock.
He was a laborer in the chicken processing plant. He had also worked as a lumberjack and in constru-ction. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and was a member of the Aurora Church of Christ. On Nov. 12, 1940, he married Mary Jane Branstetter in Butterfield, and she survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Junior Haddock, and his wife Jean, of Aurora; two daughters, Alice McCormick, Aurora, and Peggy cummings and her husband, Herman, of Marionville; five grand-children; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
Services were held Saturday in the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial was at Mars Hill Cemetery, Crane.
