Joseph Wayne Carlile, 46, of Wheaton, passed away at Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at St. John's Hospital in Cassville.
He was born on April 3, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Marvin Carlile and ruth Faulkenbury. He married his wife Linda, on May 9, 1997 in Harrison County, Texas, she survives. He was retired from General Motors in Wichita Falls, Texas. After moving to Wheaton in 1999 from Forth Worth, he was involved with the Barry County Historical Society and was a past president. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wheaton, and served as the Church's Youth Leader and Evangelism Director.
Additional survivors include: four sons, John Morrison, Joshua Lee, Jason Lee, and Chris Morrison, all of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Josie Morrison, of Fort Worth, Texas; his mother, Ruth Faulkenbury, of Medford, Ore.; two brothers, James Carlile, of Medford, Ore., and Jessie Carlile, of Oklahoma; Cathy Williams, of Texas, and Sue Schmidt, of Joplin; and mother and father-in-law, Pat and Louise Morrison of Forth Worth, Texas.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Wheaton First Baptist in Wheaton with Pastors Mark Hall and Donnie Spears officiating with burial at Jolly Bethel Cemetery near Pierce City.
Arrangements were under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
