Barbara V. Curtis, 71, of Crane, formally of Exeter, passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1936, in Harrison, Ark., the daughter of Arch and Dessie (Keys) Billingsley. She married Alfred (Dewayne) Curtis on July 14, 1978, in Miami, Okla., and he survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Eugene Blair and his wife, Pat, of Viola, and Nick Blair and his wife, Mattie, of Wheaton; three daughters, Mary Blair Langston, of Toppenish, Wash., Theresa Mahurin and her husband, Gary, of Exeter, and Kimberly Blair, of Neosho; one brother, Lee Dewayne Billingsley, of Afton, Okla.; one sister, Norma Jean Willard, of Toppenish, Wash.; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by one brother, Dee Billingsley.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the White Funeral Home in Cassville.
