Audrey Alice Majerus, 87, of Shell Knob, formerly of Beloit, Wis., passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at her home.

She was born in Wabasha County, Minn., on June 21, 1920, the daughter of George H. and alberts (Kromrey) Youngs. On May 7, 1944 she married Alfred Joseph Majerus and soon after moved to Wisconsin. For more than 15 years she was known as the "Jelly and Pie Lady" at the Farmer's Market in Beloit, Wisc. She was a member of the Salvation Army and Central Christian Church of Beloit, Wis., and the First Christian Church of Shell Knob. In 2001 she moved with her family to Shell Knob.

Survivors include: one daughter, Shirley Wardman and her husband, Richard, of Shell Knob; Bradley Wardman of Brad's Guns, of Shell Knob. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Majerus; and a half brother, Joyce Youngs.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Shell Knob First Christian Church in Shell Knob, with Pastor Louie P. Celaya officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. till service time.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, Sept.1, at 11 a.m., at the Newark Cemetery in Beloit, Wisc., with Pastor David Clark officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Hansen Funeral Home in Beloit, Wis.

Arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
