She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monett.
Survivors include: one son, Johnnie Stricklin, of Pierce City; three stepsons, Ronnie Williams, of Aurora, Jimmy Williams, of Neosho, and Johnny Williams, of Licking; four daughters, Joyce Smith, of Harrisonville, Janie Higgins, of Rich Hill, Pamela Martin, of Carthage, and Etta May Doss, of Monett; one stepdaughter, Sheila Smith, of Moline, Ill.; five sisters, Sybel Jane Loyd, Mary Waltrip, Effie Rice, Lucy Waltrip and Lucinda Eden, all of Monett; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Suttles and Wayne Stricklin, and one brother, George Shaffer.
Funeral services were held on Friday at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Burial was at Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
