Robert Dale Teater, 74, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Red Rose Inn in Cassville.
He was born on Aug. 3, 1933, in Denver, Colo., the son of Erstell and Verna (Divelbiss) Teater. He married Eliza Bell on Jan. 20, 1957, in Pensacola, Fla., and she survives.
He retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years and was employed in security at the Edison International Nuclear Power Station in San Clemente, Calif., for 13 years. He also received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and worked as a reserve police officer in Carlsbad, Calif., for eight years. In 2003 he and his wife moved to Cassville.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Robert Dale Teater Jr., and Raymond Wayne Teater and his wife, Lisa of Vista, Calif.; one daughter, Pamela Louise Krug and her husband, Ed, of Seligman; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
