RUTH WALKER

Longtime Atoka, Okla., resident, Ruth Walker, age 97, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2007, ruth was born on May 5, 1910 in Exeter, Mo. She was an excellent homemaker who took great pride in cooking, sewing, gardening and playing bridge. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Atoka and never missed a Sunday.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jess L. Walker, and son, James L. Walker.

She is survived by her two granddaughters, Amanda (Mandy) Walker Rietman, of Bellingham, Wash., and Tracy Walker, of Los Angeles, Calif.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Atoka, Thursday, August 9, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

Burial will be at the Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter Friday morning at 11 a.m. with no service. Paid
