Charles "Chuck" Eaton, 67, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, in his home.
He was born Sept. 17, 1939, in the Bronx, N. Y., son of Helen and Andrew Mack. On Sept. 25, 1999 He was united in marriage to Carol Brooks who preceded him in death on June 19, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: three sons, Randy Eaton, of Broomfield, Colo., Chuck Eaton, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Tony Eaton, of Bellevue, Idaho; four grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Carrie Brooks; brother-in-law, Tom Brooks and his wife, Stephanie; father-in-law, Charlie Simpson and mother-in-law, Dorothy Brooks.
In 1963, after attending college in California, he enlisted with the United States Air Force and served until 1967. Returning from Germany, he settled in Colorado where he met Carol and in 1999 moved to Arkansas to make his home with her.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Graveside services with military honors will follow at 11 a.m. at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Larry Henbest will conduct the service.
The family is also requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
