Members of the Barry County Genealogical and Historical Society honored Rex Stubblefield, of Marionville, with a life-time membership in the Society on Saturday. Stubblefield donated over $15,000 in stock to the Bayless-Salyer House Restoration Project. In the photo above, Georgia Farwell, Society president, presents Stubblefield with his framed life-time membership. Pictured in the back row, from left, are: Barbara and Melvin Lacey, chairman of the Restoration Project Committee; Doyle Eubanks, past Society president; Katy Jo Chambers, volunteer; Fred Fazzini, secretary-treasurer; and Carol Fazzini, Society registrar and historian. Absent from the photo is Lisa Peterson, Society second vice president who was also on hand Saturday for the Bayless House workday. Democrat Photo
