Eudora Leigh Brock, 84, of Cassville, passed away July 23, 2007, at her daughter's home in Springdale, Ark. She was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Columbus, Kan., to Harold and Yola Mae (Hodge) Spieth.
She was a charter member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville, and resided in Cassville most of her married life where she touched many residents of Barry County with her piano, voice and violin lessons for over 60 years. She was the first recipient of the Music Advocacy Award presented by the Cassville R-IV School District in March of this year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Perry Brock, and one son, Stephen Dale Brock. Survivors include: two sons, Larry Brock and wife, Bonnie, of Springdale Ark., Harold Brock and wife, Linda, of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Sherill Easley and husband, Charles, of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Bill Spieth, of Denver Colo., Jack Spieth, of Merriam Kan., 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cassville, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Bob Neeley and Rev. Robert Sisney will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
