Catherine Perch, 98, of Shell Knob, passed away on July 5, 2007, in her home.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1909, in Buffalo, N. Y., the daughter of John Wisnewski and Mary Steindoll Wisnewski. She married William Perch and he preceeded her in death on Oct. 21, 1961. She moved to Shell Knob four years ago from Kansas City, Kan., to make her home. She was an active parishioner of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob.
Survivors include: three sisters, Anne Bates, of Raytown, Alice Greble, of Kansas City, and Joann Rizzo of Independence; one granddaughter, Cindy Ohmart, of Shell Knob, with whom she made her home; four great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas C. Perch in 1984, one daughter Teresa Ann Laster in 1978, and one grandson Michael.
Mass was celebrated Friday at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville with Rev. David Miller celebrating. Burial was at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.
