Elenora R. Selenke, 74, of Shell Knob, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Red Rose Inn of Cassville.
She was born June 29, 1933, in Grainfield, Kan., the daughter of John C. and Magdalena (Wildeman) Selenke, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Selenke.
Survivors include: three brothers, Leon "Pete" Selenke and his wife, Jane, of Warsaw, Sylvester "Sy" Selenke and his wife, Connie, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Donnie Selenke and his wife, Glenda, of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Agnes Harris and her husband, Gene, of Haven, Kan., and Phyllis Favero and her husband, Fred, of Coral Springs, Fla.
She graduated from Plainview High School in Wichita, Kan. She worked as a secretary her entire life in Wichita. In 1987, she retired from St. Joseph Hospital and she moved to Shell Knob to make their home. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the PCCW.
Funeral services were held Friday, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Shell Knob, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Father David Miller conducted the services. Graveside services were held Saturday at Calvary Cemetery, Wichita, Kan. Father John Gillsen conducted the services.
Memorials in her memory may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
