Dillan Caleb Brooks, age 16, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in Elm Springs, Ark.
He was born July 6, 1990, the son of Wayne and Kelley (Eggleston) Brooks.
He is survived by his father, Wayne Brooks and step-mother, Christy, of Granby, Mo.; mother, Kelley Brooks, of Seligman, Mo.; grandparents, John and Doris Eggleston, of Seligman, Mo., Nancy Brooks, of Granby, Mo., Paul Morlan, of Granby, Janice Hamblin, of Rogers, Ark., and Ron Hamblin, of Tonitown, Ark., Ronnie and Mariann Howell, of Dixon, Mo.; one sister, Sarah Brooks, of Seligman; one brother, Kole Blake, of Seligman; two step brothers, Keith and Trenton Deshields; two half sisters, Mattie and Laira Brooks; aunts and uncles, Darren and Christy Eggleston, of Seligman, Mike and Leighann Clifton of Washburn, Bobby and Julie Brooks, James and Kim Green, Jerry Brooks and Angela Cagle, all of Granby and cousins, Brittany, Haley and Hanna Clifton, Johnny and Anthony Eggleston, Shawnna Burgess and other cousins from Granby, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Eura and Marion Eggleston and Lily and Jesse Corn.
He attended Southwest High School in Washburn and East Newton School. He loved skateboarding and music and was an avid artist.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, in Southwest High School, Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Bob Scott conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery, Seligman.
