LIONEL WILLIAM JUNG

Lionel William Jung passed away June 25, 2007. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Park Lawn Chapel. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Blue River Church of Christ in Lee's Summit, where Lionel was a member, or a charity of your choice.

Lionel was born to Walter E.C. Jung and Mary E. (Baldwin) Jung on Dec. 9, 1913, at home near Seligman, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, his son-in-law, two brothers, four sisters and his wife of 64 years, Delia, who died April 10, 2002.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Douglas; two grandsons, Richard Douglas (Patty), robert Douglas (Kay); three great grandsons; two great granddaughters; sister Doris Parker, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
