EDITH E. HALL

Edith E. Hall, 92, of Monett, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. She was born April 18, 1915, in Leanna, the daughter of the late Clark and Effie (Lester) Hall.

She was a retired sewing operator in a garment factory. She attended Church of christ in Aurora. She married Oda Hall on June 12, 1937, in Cassville and he preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1996.

Survivors include: one son, Ray Hall, of Monett; two daughters, Marie Gentry, of Purdy, and Joyce Weaver, of Monett; one sister, Claretta Padgett, of Bakersfield, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Verlin, Othello, Eldon, and Elvin Elliot; three sisters, Pearl Cook, Iola Howard, and Mildred Elliot; one granddaughter; and one son-in-law, Bill Gentry.

Funeral services were held Monday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Burial was at Monett IOOF Cemetery.
