JOE ROBERT BUTTERWORTH

Joe Robert Butterworth, 63, of Monett, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007. He was born August 29, 1943, in Greenfield, the son of the late Delbert and Mary (Horton) Butterworth.

He was a Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. He was also retired from the railroad. He was a member of the V.F.W. Tom Wolfe Memorial Post 4207 in Monett.

Survivors include: two daughters, Jessica Smith, of Joplin, and Jennifer Wormington, of Monett; two brothers, Bill and John Butterworth, both of Monett; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the V.F.W. or to the Monett Library.

Arrangements were under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
