Virginia Elaine Toro, 65, of Shell Knob, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007, in her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1941, in Evansville, Ind., the daughter of Stewart and Ida (Overton) Odom. In 1984 she was united in marriage in Glendale, Calif., to Ray Toro who preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven Odom.
|Survivors include: three sons, William McIntosh, Jr., Richard McIntosh and Mark McIntosh; two daughters, Rhonda Hulsey and Shalene Harris; a special son-in-law, Ray Harris; two brothers, Charlie Woods and his wife, June, of Neosho, and Ronnie Odom and his wife, Anita, of Cahokia, Ill.; one sister, Vickie Hooker and her husband, Kenny, of Farmington, Ky.; and three grandchildren,|
|She graduated from Business College in Bellflower, Calif. Eighteen years ago she moved from Fayetteville, Ark., to Shell Knob to make her home. Virginia supported many organizations, such as the Fire Department, law enforcement, American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.||Her body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.|
The family will have a memorial at 12 noon, Friday at the CCC Camp, Shell Knob.
