Minnie Ray Edmondson, 98, of Wellsville, Kan., (formerly of Cassville) passed away Monday, May 28, 2007. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Horner Cemetery, Cassville.
She was born Feb. 15, 1909, in commerce, the daughter of Victor and Margaret (Prawl) Oberly. In 1920 she was adopted by Bill and Addie Bostick. In 1931, she married Frank Garrett in Cassville. He preceded her in death in 1971. In 1974, she married Fred Edmondson. He preceded her in death in 1976. She spent most of her life caring and nursing others until 2000 when she moved to Wellsville, Kan. Her final years were spent at Brandon Woods in Lawrence, Kan. She was a member of the Wellsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Frankie Enfield, of Lawrence, Kan., and Kathy Hubbard, of Hamilton, Ohio; one son, Bill Garrett, of Marshfield; one sister, Cordy Price, of Indiana; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
