BETHEL LEON ARIVETT

Bethel Leon Arivett, 67, of Monett, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was born April 5, 1940, in Salina, Calif., the son of Vernon and the late Ruth (Seiber) Arivett.

He was retired from Miracle in Monett.

Survivors include: his father, Vernon and step-mother, Helen Arivett, of Purdy; one son, Brian Powell, of North Carolina; three brothers, Vernon Norman "Bud" Arivett, of Leclair, Iowa, Vernon Eugene "Buddy" Arivett, of Verona, and David Wayne Arivett, of Neosho; three sisters, Gloria Squibb, of Los Angeles, Calif., Alice Cahalan, of Pierce City, and Becky Lattimer, of Troy; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
