Richard Carl Larson, Jr., 55, of Exeter, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

He was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Aurora, Ill., the son of Richard and Dinah (Bergquist) Larson. On Sept. 24, 1971 - 1993, he was united in marriage to Jacquelyn VanWyhe, who is still living.

survivors include: his mother, Dinah Ball, of Chillicothe, Ill.; a son, Richard Larson, III, of Cassville; four daughters, Tamara Larson, of Illinois, Rita Planchon, of Cassville, Katherine Larson, of Strafford, and Susan Larson, of Cassville; two brothers, Randy Larson, of Florida, and Rodney Larson, of Illinois; one sister, Valarie Hicks, of Wisconsin; two half brothers, Allen Larson, of Missouri, and Joshua Larson of Cassville; three half sisters, Doris Larson, of Cassville, Donna Brant, of Cassville, and Marjorie Harmon of Illinois; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He received his education in Illinois. He was a truck driver for Foxvalley in Batavia, Ill., for over 15 years before retiring. In 1990 he moved to Missouri to make his home. He had worked at the Hammond's Station in Cassville and for the poultry factory in Wheaton.

Funeral services were Monday in the Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Brian Chisamore conducted the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
