Eagles fall back to .500

The Purdy Eagles played two games this week. In a make-up game on April 3, Purdy took on Monett (5-3). The Cubs came on strong from the start, scoring 15 runs in the first two innings. From there Purdy pitcher Spencer Terry held them scoreless but could get no offensive help, resulting in a five-inning 15-0 decision.

In their second game, Purdy took on College Heights (3-4). The Eagles could not get past their nine errors in the game, despite an impressive three-for-five, four-RBI game for Trent Goetz. The Eagles ended up losing 9-6.

Purdy now falls back to 3-3 and have yet to play its first conference game.
