EDNA DORIS WILLIAMS

Mrs. Edna Williams, 95, of Verona, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Cox Monett Hospital after a short illness. She was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Verona, the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Bennett) Marbut.

She was a housewife and a member of the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church, Purdy. She married Lawrence J. Williams Dec. 23, 1946, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Donald Williams and Ronald Williams, both of Verona, and Edward Winans, of Springfield; one sister, Bernece Coulter, of Marionville; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Martha E. allen in 1961.

Funeral services were held Friday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett with Rev. Lee Neil officiating. Burial was at Calton Cemetery, Verona.
