Dorothy Horn, 92, of Butterfield, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Monett Health Care, Monett.

She was born Dec. 31, 1914, east of Butterfield, the daughter of John and Jennie (Nickle) Boyd. She was united in marriage to Luther Roller and then to William Horn, who both preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Dale Roller and Bill Horn; a daughter, Barbara Stilwell; one brother, Buck Boyd and three sisters, Myrl Johnson, Mildred Henderson and Elaine Horner.

Survivors include: one daughter, Joann Beeson and her husband, Mitchell, of Monett; one son, Richard Horn and his wife, Sue, of Cassville; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She received her education at the Shady Grove Rural School. She was a life-long resident of the Butterfield area. For several years she was employed with the garment factory as a seamstress, from which she retired. She was baptized in the First Baptist Church at Butterfield.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Russell Cemetery, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Nickle and Bro. Bobbie Harrison will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, in Butterfield First Baptist Church.
