New Cassville Intermediate School taking shape

Thursday, March 29, 2007

Work continues on Cassville's new intermediate school, which will serve third, fourth and fifth grade students. Dalton-Killinger is serving as general contractor on the project. On Monday, crews were busy forming the walls of the new 55,314-square-foot, two-level facility. The building project will be completed this summer in time for students to utilize the facility in the fall. The $5 million project is financed through a $7.1 million bond issue that Cassvile R-IV School District voters approved in April of 2006. Voters in Exeter, Purdy and Wheaton school districts will have the opportunity to cast their ballots for bond issue proposals in next Tuesday's election. Democrat Photo
