Purdy to hold meeting on April bond issue
The Purdy R-II School District has scheduled its final informational meeting about the bond issue that will be placed on the April 3 ballot. The meeting will be held in the Purdy cafeteria at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
"Those who attend the public meeting will receive information regarding how their tax dollars will be spent and how the completed project will benefit everyone in the community," said Raynel Schallert, Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) committee chair. "They will leave the meeting with a greater understanding of the necessity of this bond issue."
Administrators and other professionals who are involved with the building project will present information on how the bond issue will benefit Purdy students, faculty and staff members and the local community.
District patrons will be given an opportunity to voice opinions and ask questions about the bond issue. All Purdy R-II School District patrons are invited to attend the meeting.
