Jewell Imogene "Judy" Ferbert, 77, of Shell Knob, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Americus, Kan.

She was born Sept. 25, 1929, in St. Louis, the daughter of Grida Dallas and Sarah Lucille (Self) Duncan. On April 25, 1980, in Miami, Okla., she was united in marriage to James W. Ferbert, who survives.

Survivors include: two sons, Kem Duncan Hatfield, of Emporia, Kan., and Douglas Paul Hatfield, of Kansas City; one daughter, Vickie Ann Callahan and her husband, Kevin, of Americus, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mickie Rene Dennison and one brother.

She received her education in Excelsior Springs, where she graduated from high school. Nine years ago she moved to Shell Knob to make her home and for the last month had been in Americus, Kan. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Shell Knob.

Graveside services were today (Wednesday) at Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob. Lonnie Stockton conducted the services.

Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
