LEWIS J. LATSHAW

He was born July 21, 1924, in Monett, the son of Orvill V. and Mable M. Spencer Latshaw. He married Ruth M. Hutchens in Pioneer, and she survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Gregory Latshaw and his wife, Debbie, of Oak Grove, Rick Latshaw, of Covington, Ga.; two daughters, Pat Ferguson, of Battlefield, Vicki Clanton and her husband, Leo, of Republic; three brothers, John Latshaw, of Aurora, James Latshaw, of Monett, and Jean Latshaw, of Kansas City; two sisters, Mary Adams, of Monett, Marjorie Stark, of Conway, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Latshaw.

He was a farmer and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield. He was a WWII veteran.

Services were Saturday at First Baptist Church with Chaplin Wayne Hall officiating. Interment was at Spring River Cemetery, Verona.

Arrangements were under direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
