Daniel Wesley Arnold, 21, of Springdale, Ark., died on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.

He was born on Nov. 9, 1985, the son of Perry Wesley and Denise Ann Dawson Arnold in The Woodlands, Texas. He had lived in the Springdale area for the past 15 years and had attended the University of Arkansas as a communications major until he became ill and had to withdraw. He was a standup comedian having participated in open-mike sessions and receiving several awards from the University of Arkansas.

Survivors include: his parents, Perry Arnold and his wife, Linda, of Gateway, Ark.; his mother, Denise Arnold, of Springdale, Ark.; four sisters, Debbie Neill, of Gainesville, Texas, Lynn Arnold and Kimmie Arnold, both of Fayetteville, Ark., and Katie Arnold, of Springdale, Ark.; and his maternal grandfather, Max Dawson, of Springdale, Ark.;

Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark.

His body has been cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
