Gladys Marie Fultz, 80, of Washburn, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Blackwell, Okla., the daughter of Walter E. and Pearl Rohrs. On Dec. 27, 1961, in Oklahoma City, Okla., she was united in marriage to Kenneth Fultz, Jr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenny Fultz and one sister, Geraldean Bumgardner.
survivors include: three sons, William Anderson and his wife, Velda Jean, of Washburn, Randy L. Cantrell and his wife, Debbie of Cassville, and Paul Fultz and his wife, Christine, of Anadarko, Okla.; one daughter, Debby Cochenour and her husband, Randy, of Blackwell, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She received her education in Blackwell, Okla., where she graduated from high school. She was a veterinary assistant for Dr. N.L. Astle in Blackwell for several years. In 1997, she moved from Decatur, Ill., to Washburn to make her home. She was a member of Washburn Church of Christ.
Private memorial services will be held. Cremation was under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
