Jeremy Adam Flanders, 30, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007.
He was born Sept. 27, 1976, in Denver, Colo.
He was born handicapped and was placed in several institutions and foster homes until he was six years old. In 1982 he was placed in a foster home belonging to Cliff and Polly Wilson. He was loved and accepted by the Wilson's and they were granted guardianship shortly thereafter. He went to special schools designed for the handicapped until he was 21. He moved from Colorado to Missouri with the Wilsons in 1989.
survivors include: his biological father, Michael Flanders, of Brush, Colo.; his loving foster parents, Cliff and Polly Wilson, of Washburn; adopted sister, Suzie Wilson, of Joplin; and adopted brother, Carey Wilson, of Van Buren, Ark.
A memorial service was held Saturday in Mission Baptist Church, Washburn.
His body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
