Junior Ross Paul, 75, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.
He was born March 30, 1931, in Washburn, the son of Thomas Nelson and Quintilla (Hall) Paul. On Dec. 31, 1958, in Exeter, he was united in marriage to Joyce Norwood, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Gary Paul and his wife, Kelly, of Cassville; one brother, Leon Paul, of Washburn; two sisters, Faye Cox and Vada Cox, both of Tulsa, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant siblings, Lester and Pauline; two brothers, Ralph Paul, Sr. and Joe Paul and four sisters, Erma Robbins, Iva Meyers, Fern Cummings and Eva Walden.
He received his education at Washburn, where he graduated from high school in 1949. During the Korean War he served in the United States Army from Jan. 17, 1952, until Dec. 18, 1953. He was stationed overseas at Dorset, England. He worked as barber from 1957 until his retirement in 1991. He and Joyce also own and operated a farm for many years. He was a member of Exeter First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
