Funeral services for Lyndall Newman Wohlgemuth, 91, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, were held Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Zodrow and Ken Pittman officiating.

Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Bryan Burd, Robert Corolewski, Jason Creel, Curtis Evans, Joe Jolly, Mike Jolley, and Tony Newman. Musical selections for the service were "Amazing Grace", "Beyond The Sunset" and "In The Garden". Pianist was Darla Neighbors, vocalists were, Bill Zodrow, Morris Neighbors, Matt Neighbors and Scott Neighbors.

Lyndall passed away on January 6, 2007, at Frances Streitel Senior Care Center, in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She was born January 21, 1915, in Republic, Missouri to Talbert F. and Lillie S. (Logan) Plumlee. She was a graduate of Cassville High School. Lyndall married Earnest H. Newman, who preceded her in death in November of 1941. She moved to Oklahoma in 1948. Lyndall worked for the Miami Chamber of Commerce for several years. She later married Benjamin A. Wohlgemuth on September 2, 1951 in Claremore, OK. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2005. Lyndall and her husband Ben ran the B& W Variety stores in Miami and Skiatook for 25 years. They moved to Skiatook in 1956. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church for years, teaching Sunday school class, 14 years as church clerk, president of W.M.U. for five years and enjoyed singing in the choir. Lyndall later joined the First Baptist Church of Skiatook on October 13, 1991. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Lyndall is survived by two sons: Larry Newman and wife Betty of Bartlesville; Jim Newman and wife Mary of Skiatook; a sister Beulah Brightup of Owasso; six grandchildren: Tony Newman, Tammy Corolewski and husband Robert, Trina Evans and husband Curtis, Cindy Jolley and husband Joe, Debby Newman, and Mandy Burd and husband Bryan, 11great grandchildren: Geana Creel and husband Jason, Brandi Newman, Cascia Stockton, Cameron Corolewski, Kollin and Kelsey Evans, Katy and Mike Jolley, Mallory, Blake and Brayden Burd, three great great grandchildren: Kaityln, Annelise and Jason Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and a brother, Dee Plumlee. Paid
