She was born March 21, 1909, in Fredonia, Kan., the daughter of James Edward and Nora Viola Osborne Crossland. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Purdy.
She married General Stockton on June 21, 1926, in Cassville, and he preceded her in death March 20, 1978.
Survivors include: two sons, General Stockton, Jr. and his wife, Nadine, of Powderly, Texas, and Gale Stockton and his wife, Dolly, of Cassville; one daughter, Billie Gasperson and her husband, Willis, of Pratt, Kan.; one sister, Lucille Hall, of Joplin; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 30 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Leonard Stockton and Norman Stockton; two brothers Walter Crossland and Orville Crossland; four sisters, Alice Crossland, Louise Lasiter, Alma Smith and Goldie Stewart.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Morris Dodson officiating. Burial will be at Purdy Cemetery.
