Blue skies brighten Barry County's outlook

After almost a week of freezing temperatures, downed power lines and chilling cold, Barry County residents were treated to some blue sky last Friday morning. This photo was taken near the Cassville South Park and shows the sun melting ice on power lines. This week, area residents are focusing on storm recovery, which includes clearing up yards, trimming trees and adjusting again to life with electricity. Democrat Photo
